Alright, it's that time of the week again. Time to link up with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday. It's crazy that these weeks are flying by. I feel like I'm four million weeks pregnant--but the weeks are going quickly. I am a woman of many contradictions. Seriously. And, let it be known, pregnancy only increases the veracity of this fact about me. I think Husband and I have decided that I have finally gotten to the "crazy" point of pregnancy. The one where you cry about silly things, watch weird TV (and eat weird things) late at night because you can't sleep, where you can't explain how you feel without changing your mind 5 times. You know. Normal.
My cute outfit choices are getting fewer and fewer. Well, let me rephrase. The outfits are still cute, they just don't look as cute anymore. :) Pregnant people clothes are made for the weeks approximately 20-30...after 30 weeks, you're mainly just trying to keep your parts covered...this is true. Tell me it's not.
I would prefer to wear "cozy pants" (as my four year old calls them) everyday, but Husband never thinks I was productive if I do that. Soooo, in an effort to continue the charade that I do more than nap and eat bon-bons all day...I try to get dressed in "normal" outfits most days. :)
Annnnd, wouldn't you know. As I'm writing this post, the Old Navy/Gap family of websites is down for maintenance. Since 96% of my clothing (especially while larger than normal...you know...pregnant) is from either Gap or Old Navy...I'm not going to be able to link to the shopping sites. Sorry, Gap. Sorry, Old Navy. However, know if I'm wearing something in the pictures below...there is a 96% chance that you could get (or could have gotten) them at Old Navy or Gap.
Jersey Cardi: Express...I think I overwear this, since it's been in every What I Wore!
Skinny Jeans: Old Navy Maternity
Dress turned Tunic: Old Navy (Regular People, not maternity)
Sweet Necklace: Gift from a Friend
Shoes: Chuck Taylors
Sweater Vest: Old Navy (Regular People, not maternity)
Shirt: Gap Pure Body Long Sleeve Maternity
Belty Tie Thing: Borrow from a Jacket from...you guessed it...Old Navy
Socks: Gap (hey...I'm just saying, I'm loyal! annnnd, I like cheap shipping!)
Earrings: Resin Tortoiseshell earrings from a little shop in Florence, Italy 7 years ago
Wow, I feel so naked without linking at least something in my outfit posts. I just want to give proper attribution lest you believe I sew each article of clothing (and darn my husbands socks) on my own. No, I love online shopping and dry-clean anything of my husbands that isn't "wrinkle free".
Say Hi if you're coming over from The Pleated Poppy and I'll make sure to come see your outfit. I try to make the rounds, but sometimes I miss some cute stuff!
