Time to Make the Moooooooove...

Okay, now is the time to make the move to the new Tiny Twig!  I believe that if you were subscribed here, you will still be subscribed over there (don't quote me on that...check back if you haven't heard from me in awhile!!).  However, definitely click over and take a look around.  There is some fun new content and lots more to be found in the days to come. 

All through October I will be blogging about how to look better and spend less time and money on your clothes.  It should be a really fun series and I hope it's helpful to more people than just me.  :)

A Summer WrapUp

Since fall is most obviously approaching, as evidenced above, I wanted to share a few of my favorite summer pictures with you.  It was a great summer that started with a bang at Mr. Asher's arrival, lulled during his recovery, and then chugged right along until now.  Never have I enjoyed (or needed!!) a vacation as much as our trip to the lake this year...and I've been dreaming about going back nearly weekly since our return home.

It's been a full summer, indeed!  This morning I am off to photograph some Outfit Inspiration for our 31 Days to a No Brainer Wardrobe series that will kick off on the new Tiny Twig on October 1st.  Getting excited, ya'll!

Creative, Concrete, and Complete

Yesterday I posted the above status on Facebook.  My oldest is in preschool for the first time--and the half days and constant commuting have put a little bit of a kink in my normal routine. 

I found myself starting to feel the unrest and frustration that I described in my previous post about seasons of change.  I also started to feel like I had more creative inspiration input coming in than I did actual creative activities coming out.  That happens to me when I feel stuck...I consume more than create.  I get caught up in all the inspiration out there rather than just doing something...ANYTHING...of my own.

I am also working on a lot of different new projects in the online world.  My hands are in a lot of arenas, which is exciting...but at the end of the day you don't have anything concrete to show for your hard work. 

Today, I'm aiming for creative, concrete, and complete.  :)
